This is the last published work of the series “Joan Chamorro presenta“, in which he presents some of the hidden gems he has in his famous Sant Andreu Jazz Band. This october, the time has arrived for the young pianist Marc Martín, with Joan Chamorro presenta Marc Martín.
Marc Martín began his music studies when he was just 7 years old, studying classical music. When he was 13 he walked into the jazz world, at the Escola de Música de Sant Andreu.
Soon he took part of the Sant Andreu Jazz Band and he became the official pianist of the big band. With them, he has recorded on all of the albums they have until now, when he has his own dedicated CD.

As he himself says on the presentation of his solo album:
“This work is a walk in the Jazz classic themes from the 20s, like one of the Dixieland’s era: The Sheik Of Araby, to 60′s, with a beautiful portuguese bossanova composed by the great Jobim: Insensatez.”
“All the work inspired by authentic legends as Stan Getz, Miles Davis, Oscar Peterson, Ella Fitzgerald… where you can listen songs in several groups with the participation of excellent musicians like Scott Robinson, Dick Oatts, Jon-Erik Kellso, Esteve Pi, Josep Traver, Toni Belenguer, Eva Fernández, Andrea Motis and Joan Chamorro, promoter of this project and with whom I am very grateful for making possible this work that you have in your hands, which I’m sure you will be pleasantly surprised.”
